Losing Oil

First thing I would do is go out and buy a PCV valve from the dealer. Do NOT use an aftermarket PCV valve, only Mopar. Aftermarket PCV valves have been linked to excessive oil consumption.
If you are sure the oil isn't leaking out on the ground, then it must be leaving through the combustion chambers (read: being burnt). You are probably leaking more oil on the ground that you think, but if it isn't obviously showing up in the driveway then that isn't how you lost your 3 quarts.
After installing the new PCV valve, keep a close watch on your oil level. If it continues to use oil excessively, you'll know you need to do the Plenum fix that much sooner.
Oh, and keep a quart of oil or two in the bed. Handy if you don't have a ride to the parts store.
