Default 2500 sas build thread

After doing my sas it was very clear to me that i had underestimated the necessary spring rate. I got ahold of some new springs from fabtech 8 inch f250 diesel lift spring.

they are totally legit, i am super exited about them.

I am also going to be running dual rancho 8000 shocks on each side up front, and another pair out back. going to run the chevy 2500 lift springs, that are currently up front, out back and the fill the rest of the necessary lift with blocks to be totally level.

i also managed to get ahold of these 38 15.50s off of craigslist for 100 bucks!

I am going to be making shackle hangers and spring hangers from scratch. i will be posting constant update pics and showing every step of the build. It will be around 12 inches from stock when complete. I am also going to be two tone painting the wheels, gonna be a good looking truck when its done. then i can park it out in front of my shop with pride! this is what she looks like right now...

Sorry for asking foolish question - but - what is "ifs" and "sas?"

Thanks.

No question is foolish.

ifs= independent front suspension, usually has a arms

sas= solid Axel swap, going from an ifs system to a solid axel
