Default Open longtube headers

hey yall, I just ordered a set of pacesetter longtubes and i was wondering how the truck would run with the open headers. I dont know when i will have a chance to take the old girl to an exhaust shop to get some pipe ran. i know it will be wayyy to loud, but i wanna know how much power would it rob?

i have vids in my youtube when i had a cutout after my longtubes ! ! i LOVED IT ! i miss it though it was so loud i was afraid to use the gas peddle then i got used to it . people always asked if i had a cam because of the sound at idle. my 1.7 HS helped of course. i had to take off my cutout and replace it with a cat to pass emmisions.

i highly reccommend buying stage 8 locking bolts so you dont worp the header flange, also not buying them cause gaskets to blow out, and you will need to tighten your bolts down more often. i've had no leaks with my stage 8 bolts. there cheap on summit

pics of my old set up , now the got rid of the cutout connected the y and added a cat . mienikie made a custum y-pipe for me . i already had a catback with cherrybomb extreme so i didnt have them do that .

ya just the precat on the passenger side, and then you gotta make a custum after cat bung where ever you decide to put the cat. i imagine you would have to use a fouler if you didnt put a cat on

You are only getting a reading from the pre cat o2 from one bank though.

I ran Open Pacesetters for a few days before i could get it piped up . Worked great , but almost too loud to drive , my ears would ring when i shut it off . I used regular bolts and have had no leaks, been over a year now .
