I have had to change parts in the driveway in various flavors of inclement weather....... It sucks. I know. I think the worst was the starter motor in my Challenger in the -20 *F winter, in three feet of snow..... I was NOT a happy camper....

i removed the oil pan on my 91 to have it brazed and the next day it snowed. i had put a cut open a garbage bag and tried taping it so no snow got in. when i put it all back together it ran fine. i think it would take a lot of water and long time exposure to weather for it to do any damage.

Brush some POR-15 on everything and you'll be set for a few days.

You'll have an engine. It just won't be rusty. And we can clean it up a little when we do the TC.

well i replaced the oil psi sender, and installed a mechanical gauge, and the problem still persists.

i went and got a new oil pan, oil pump and pick up tube, as well as the rear main seal, and various other things, including another oil change. i also bought a bottle of gunk's engine flush to get all the crap out of it that may be causing the situation.

also, i just did the plenum timing chain, and water pump, now that its all done, the truck has been running great!

one problem though, my misfire came back. i havent checked the codes yet, but its there. i read somewhere on here that some kid had the same problem and turned out to be his pcv valve hose was cracked. my pcv valve hose is cracked also. thus causing a vacuum leak. could this be the cause of my misfire?

It's possible, need to fix it in any event. Might also wanna run some fuel injector cleaner thru the gas tank, and some seafoam thru the intake.

ok, so i cant seem to find the bolts that connect my front driveshaft to the t-case. my kids must have found the bag that they werein and hid it on me....

does anyone know what the part number is for the bolts that connect the front drivesahft to the t-case?

also, im missing 1 bolt for the rear driveshaft where it bolts the the axle. anyone know the part number for that one as well?

you could just go to a hardware store and get the same kind of bolts. thats what i did
