v10 RAM no start....frustrated
That is kinda bizarre.... I have my doubts about the cam sensor as well..... but, something is shutting down the PCM. Do you get the fuel pump running while you are cranking the engine?
fuel pump is running with the key on, runs all the time
doesnt just prime when you turn key on then wait for the crank to pulse
it runs consistantly with the key on or cranking....which i feel to be odd.

didnt think i needed to go down this road but.....here goes
this truck had a tranny rebuild about 650 miles ago i can see the trans is a fresh rebuild
could this truck have possibly drove 650 miles and had a pinched wire somewhere that finally rubbed thru and killed the pcm?
installing a new pcm drove 5 miles and killed it again?
it seems believable, but.... with old pcm, fuel pump didnt even turn on. new pcm fuel pump runs....hmmmm
any ideas on which wires to ohm?....could be a good idea, something doesnt seem right with the trans relay being pulled earlier and it would run
sounds kinda coinsidental?

Fuel pump should not run all the time. Try swapping the relay, and see if that changes the behavior. If it doesn't, need to check the control circuit for the pump relay.
On the V-8's, the cam sensor is in the dist, and it is quite possible to pinch the wires when doing a trans R&R, Not sure where that feller is on the 10...... Could try unplugging the cam and crank sensors, unplugging the connectors from the PCM, and ohm out each wire, all should be open circuits.
Just out of idle curiosity..... does the control circuit for the ASD relay trigger for a few seconds when you first turn the key on?

installed new cam sensor from dodge.....no start
ha lol....this is great
having a friend from dodge dealer stop by the shop tonite with his scan tool
to see if it will communicate with the ecu....yeah right
i'm to the point where i might just put full coverage on the truck....
hmmmmmm
thinking.....thinking.....

Since PCMs are specific for Trans, engine, emmisions. Are you sure the aftermarket PCM is correct for your truck?
Just wondering if your PCM learned your truck over the 650 miles and decided something was wrong and kinda locked you out, or maybe pinouts are different.

but at this point i'm up for anything....anything
i am going out now to try old pcm....dont hold your breath...lol
