Know anyone that has anther v-10 truck, that you can plug one of the dead PCM's into, and see what happens on another truck?

got it on the lift...can see around bellhousing under and on top....no pinched wires, so i see no need to dropp tranny, i did however take battery out and tray to look under fuse box and also see nothing, along the top of the engine runs and wiring harness that i disected, i found a couple of wires ( grounds) that are exposed but wouldnt think that would hurt anything....
now im clueless, i sent all my burnt pcms back to parts houses, order a used one online , will be here today
what do you recommend , ? unhook all sensors and plug in pcm?.....i'm hurtin here

i'm a knowledgable mechanic and own my own shop , not the best with electricals i may admit , but i feel sending to the dealership they are goonna f**k me hard

thanks

Disconnect EVERYTHING..... just leave the PCM, and the comm port hooked up. See if you can establish communication with the PCM.

I'm shocked at this, shocked I tell you.

On the other hand, great to hear it's running. Been following the whole thread but had nothing to offer on causes aside from a bad short somewhere, but even that may not have been the case. Please keep us posted.

Awesome.Glad you got her running finally. Defective units or maybe they were not flashed with the correct options? Probably should take it to dealer (a different one) and have them flash it. The options, mileage, and vin will atleast be correct. If any of those apply. Might get rid of the tranny codes too.
