I sure hope the sensor is the prob... I hate replacing things that don't need to be.
Sometimes you have no choice but to spend money on parts. Or you could spend thousands on test equipment.

Well, I'm no tree hugger by any means, but I do love the wildlife. So although I hope you get your truck fixed. I hope you DON'T get any deer. LOL And stay away from my property. 7 1/2 acres of wildlife heaven. LOL Every morning I go out on my porch and see one or more of the following, Deer, turkey, fox, coyote, falcon, blue heron at my pond, ground hog, porcupines, skunks and of course the black bears.

Here in Utah muzzloader started today.

I go mostly to get outdoors. I hunt far from neighborhoods and places people usually hike or go animal spotting.

Ive only ever got a few deer in the 16 yrs of hunting. I just like to get out with my dad and friend.

I love seeing animals, I don't do near as much hunting as I used to. I stick to camping, and dune riding the banshee mostly (and I always leave food out for the kit fox at the dunes )

So the one I got from the dealer doesn't have the metal plate or the wire extension... Can I re use the metal plate and do I need the sure extension?

Of course you reuse the plate. Just clean it up . And the extension cable is a factory upgrade. There is a TSB on it, but I can't find it right now . Don't worry about it though. Just replace the sensor.

Just an update.. Thursday morn my speedometer stopped working under 35mph.

Got the sensor changed today and it fixed it. Pain to get out, but it works.

Also getting old pcv valve out was tough, it was all gummed up and rusty looking inside. Got new one in, and well see if it helps with the vents going to defrost..
