Well I'm the like 5th owner of my truck so who knows what it's Been through lol but I just deleted the check valve right before it died lol

They can be built to last practically forever, but right out of the factory they are too weak for truck duty. This is not a matter of opinion, but widely reported experience of vehicle owners.

Just buy a PATC Mega Viper and be done with it.
