OK, I'll take a shot at this one - I happen to speak Jive. ("Airplane" reference, since we're in movie mode). [RIP Robert Stack and LLoyd Bridges].
When "dah" gets its missing "s" restored, it all becomes clear. The engine won't turn over, the CEL blinks ten times, and then all of the lights in the dash (instrument panel) come on. (Then presumably the Mormon Tabernacle Choir starts singing).
Sounds like an odd one all right. Anyone?

A little more info: Blkjak doesn't have the hang of starting threads yet; his 3 posts are:
1) "truck wont start" (in another thread about a starting problem)
2) "check engine light flashes 10 times then all the gears light up with a box around them" (ditto)
3) the now-famous "truck wont turn over , check engine light blinks 10 times then all lights in da[s]h come on"
Maybe a moderator [Brian] could help him out with thread-starting? (speaking of starting problems).
And the thing about all the gear indicators lighting up does sound odd, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if one of you gurus knows what that is right off the bat. (Crap, speaking of bats, gotta go see if the Red Sox are still leading the Orioles; they're in danger of losing their chance to get swept in the AL Division series).
