I would be tempted to spend a bit more, and just get a borgeson shaft.......

I found one of the extensions for $105, but that still seems a bit pricey for a little hunk of metal.

I'm looking at the shafts now, and they are a bit pricey as well... but come with awesome reviews as I'm sure you know. I did have my wife semi-prepared for a steering box and a shaft, so maybe I can sneak it

My hopes for a weekend road test are dimming though... I'm not seeing many remotely local dealers in my area.

I'd go with the borgeson shaft myself

Not liking the looks of that part on such an important area. And when I was looking for it earlier, I saw some people at different forums having it wobble and not be able to tighten it up enough.
