Default 2001 dodge ram 2500 4x4 upgrades

i got a 01 2500 4x4 5.9l gasser i bought a 7inlift and before i install it i want to upgrade some motor parts first.

so i'm on a budget off about 2500.00 max

motor is a 5.9L has a 162k but runs great has a blown pelnum

so i'm gonna order up the hugh pelnum kit and bolts and 180D themasat from there on monday

but i wanted some peopls advice what is a better throllete body the FASTMAN or the HUGHES? hughes say the fastman is crap but who do i belive?

i use my truck as a daily driver and i do tow a car trailer that weights sometime from empty(3500lbs)-12,500 but 90% its my DD

so i'm looking for advice i'm going to list all the upgrades i'm thinking about buying and let me know if i'm in the wrong or if i'm missing something

pelnum repair kit and bolts(from hughes)

headers(ebay brand or pacesetter not sure)

true dual exhaust custom fabed by my local mechanic 3in with no cats and dual flow-masters 3.5in tail pipes

S&B cold ait intake systems.

A/C pump delete(ac doesn't work anyways and i never need it)

and last i haven't figured out what Programmer to get i know of superchips and hypertech and a couple others but really what is the best bang for the buck or are they even worth the 300-500 dollars

7in lift with 37-40in talls(i have the lift just need tires)

any and all advice will be helpfull. i'm 20years old and i know a fair amount about stuff but i have learned to ask question before jumping into something i'm sure off i've always messed with carb stuff and not sure of whats the right way to handle a fuel injected motor

2500 bucks for engine mods? Ooooooo.....

Lets go with:

Hughes Air Gap Intake: 600
1.7 HS Roller Rockers: 300
Long Tube Headers: 300
Wideband O2 sensor: 250 or so..... (for an inexpensive one. needed for custom tune)
Hemifever tune: 365
Highflow Cat: 200ish?
Double Roller timing: 50
Gaskets and such 200

About 2265.......

I would also go this route or go with 4.56 gears

thanks for all the help and i'm not gonna mess with the gears yet. because when i do them i'm gonna install lockers front and rear so i'm gonna wait..

i was looking at the hughes air gap intake thats 600 dollars does any one have that on there truck? is it really worth that 600 for the intake plus the 200 for the TB

i have seen a lot of 1.6 rockers but no 1.7 rocker where do u guess recommed for buying them?

summit sell 1.7 harland sharp roller rockers for like 350
edit: +1 on the pacesetter longtubes, and the 2.5 inch exhaust. i ran with open headers(the come with a 3in collecter) and i really wasnt impressed, but then i put a set of 3in to 2.5in reducers and there was a noticable differnce. especially above 2.5k or half throttle
dont bother with the CAI, get the 13 in round air filter set up instead or stick with the stock air box
if you go with tires that big they will eat half your budget easily and make sure you get a dual steering stabalizer set-up. topguncustomz.com has them for 130-200+ plus shipping

Rockers on Summit Racing. I think I have seen them linked elsewhere for cheaper....

Several members have the Air Gap manifold here. All of them liked it. (even for the money)

Have a look at the Poor Man's throttle body DIY in the faq section. Much cheaper than anything you can buy online, aside from maybe ebay.
