WOW, 13 posts and he already did the plenum fix!! He is a prodigy. Now who is going to claim his as their protege!!

Good work, and way to follow the instructions and advice people here gave. You cannot go wrong when telling someone to do a plenum fix with an engine that has 80K+ miles.

I didn't even have a blown plenum on my 2001 (47K when i did it) but did it anyway for preventative maint. ANd because I ran my 1996 without the plenum fix.

fully warmed up idle of about 600-650 is normal.
