Good work, and way to follow the instructions and advice people here gave. You cannot go wrong when telling someone to do a plenum fix with an engine that has 80K+ miles.
I didn't even have a blown plenum on my 2001 (47K when i did it) but did it anyway for preventative maint. ANd because I ran my 1996 without the plenum fix.

The only thing that concerns me a little is the idle rpms dropped from about 800 to about 650; but i think that may just be the computer adjusting to everything being fixed. I think the idle rpms are suppose to be around 700ish i forgot to look that up. But the truck seems to be running fine.
