It wouldn't be near as big of a jump in torque going from 3.91 to 4.10 as it is going from 3.55 to 4.10. Like HeyYou said, what size tires are you running? Since you say that you're stock then your gears should be perfect. 3.91 gears are good for 245/75/16 to 265/75/16. 4.10 gears are good for 265/75/16 to 285/75/16. 4.56 gears are good for 285/75/16 to 315/75/16.
But the best combo is 3.55 for 225/75/16 - 3.91 for 245/75/16 - 4.10 for 285/75/16 - 4.56 for 315/75/16.

 

i got 245 75 16 tires.i talked to a performace shop in town i deal with that was a sct dealer. he told me he didnt have the program for the gen two ram but a friend of his can do a custom ecm burn for 700.00.has anyone had a custom burned ecm over a name brand? i was going to change the exhast but ran out of time on friday hopfully monday i can build a new system

 

Hemifever will do custom tunes WITH a tuner for 365. Don't pay the outrageous price.

 

Can tunes is 265 , no need for custom unless you have a wild cam and injectors or induction

Is your truck pre-'96? Otherwise, I can't figure out where that guy was coming from. Even at that, $700 seems crazy high.

 

my trucks a 01 i thought 700 was out there.i got another intake coming and going to mod that and do the exhast 2 1/2 with x pipe. can tunes or hemi fever do you give them specs on your truck or do they have preset programs?
