No, you must use the wiring harness that came with the V-8. These engines are sequential port injection, which means that it only fires one injector at a time, so, they are all individually controlled.
Trouble you are going to have is, the 94 is OBDI, your 98 is OBDII..... so, if I had to hazard a guess, I would say that computer/harness isn't going to work for you. There will be a lot missing from the harness, (and some extra stuff the 98' didn't have...) and the OBDI PCM isn't going to be telling your Instrument cluster what's going on either.
You need a PCM and harness out of a 98....... with a v-8 and manual.

I would do as HeyYou mentioned and head to a jk and get the engine wiring harness/pcm from a 98 5.2 V8.
Service manuals can be found at the link below, and there are wiring diag in there, 95 might be the same as a 94, but I am not sure about the 2001 book working for the 98. I am thinking that you need to cut off the ends of each harness going into the firewall, start matching up the right wires and soldering. Like HeyYou has mentioned some things might just not work, OBD1 in a OBD2 truck.....

Both the v6 blew the intake gasket and was literally dumping water in the motor it still ran good but it was really nasty when I tore it down I have the 5.2 already it's backed by a nv4500 out of a 94 2500 I already measured everything should fit fine it's just the wiring
