Seat belt bezel

Seat belt bezel
Does anybody else have this problem?
The seat belt bezel, (The plastic sleeve that guides the seat belt through the backrest of the seat) on my '99 quad cab is broken and keeps falling off every time I buckle up. I went to the dealer and was told this part is not available unless you but the entire seat for $1300.00!!! The guy at the parts counter actually thought this was funny! I failed to see the humor in this and told him that and a few other things I probably shouldn't have. Does anybody know where to get this part other than the junkyard?
Any help would be appreciated.
Ron

RE: Seat belt bezel
I work for a Dodge dealer and the part you are looking for is not serviced. It is serviced in the seatbelt on the 2000- 2001 models. I am not sure about the 1999 models. If you want to give me the last 9 digits of the vin I will call Dodge's specifiying department and double check for you.

RE: Seat belt bezel
I had that problem in my 1995 Dakota.
I took it to a bodyshop and they found a "used" replacement, probably from a junkyard, that worked great. Part + labor was under $50, although I can't remember the exact amount. Nothing wrong with a junkyard part most of the time; mine looked brand new. Never would have guessed that it was not the original unless I mentioned it.
