Default 2000 ram 2500 8L. MPG?

Can anyone please help me out by telling me what kind of gas mileage i should expect from 2000 dodge ram 2500 V10 8L 4x4 extended cab truck??

Do you know what gears you have in it? That really makes a difference in gas mileage. I'm guessing stock tire size?

I was getting 6 mpg around town with 3.55's and 35" tires. Now I get 12 mpg around town with 4.56 gears.

In a word? Bad. If you break into double digits around town, you are doing good. Don't expect much over 15 or so on the freeway, unloaded......

so would yall think that a combined average between city and highway would be about 11 or 12?

depending on tire size and gearing, you will probably average 10-12
