For your year truck you can correct the speedo by changing the speedo gear in the trany/t case.

Expect to lose mpg and can't comment on how it will ride without knowing what tires you are going with.

Mine don't ride that rough and they're m/t's. You'll definitely lose some mpg and gain some noise.

Basically a 35 inch tire..... what gears do you have? 3.55's? You aren't going to like that much around town......

I have 315/75/16s bfg mt's and my speedo is off by about 7-8 mph. And im pretty sure I have 3.55 gears and get 11 mpg and thats a mix of mostly highway and a little bit of in town driving. I wish I had $$$$ for 4.56's

Yeah, I hear ya on that. I am considering upping my tire size to 285's, but, I have 3.55 gears, and I WORK my truck on a fairly regular basis. (comes from being the only member of my group of friends with a pickup...... ooops.) I want to do gears, as it is one of THE BEST mods for these trucks, unfortunately, it is also one of THE most expensive...... and I live on a shoestring budget. (and a broken shoestring at that. )

My 315's definitely made me lose some power... I plan on getting 4.56's sometime in the spring, but the weight and size will throw you off
