my main plans with the truck are to do the keggar mod... sometime in the future do the FI air gap intake from Hughes the 600 bones one... HS 1.7 RR and headers true dual exhaust ac delete and double roller timing chain

and if my motor takes a dump i may do a custom build like a 408 or etc but at the moment the above listed is list of mods for now

plus i'm in the works of doing a 7in lift and 40s so i will be rear gearing it too

Then the canned tunes will be more than adequate to the task for ya. If you start doing things like heads, cam, etc. Things that DRAMATICALLY alter the way the engine should run, THEN you need custom tunes.

I would call and chat with Hemifever to make sure you get the right stuff. And I do believe that when the time comes, you just pay the 100 dollar difference between the canned tunes, and the custom tunes, and he will set ya right up.

The canned tunes are designed to work on a basically stock motor. It is an improvement over what's in there now, some notice a lot more than others. Chrysler compromises on some things between power, economy, emissions, and parts longevity....... Hemi's tunes are more geared for power/performance. Some folks get better gas mileage WITH his tunes..... (but, not immediately, as they tend to develop a heavy foot that LIKES the new found power.)

Custom tunes are required when you start straying too far from stock. Big valve heads, lumpy cam, bigger injectors, forced induction..... That kind of thing.

I just got a new cat put on my truck. If i put an off road y-pipe on there it should fit with no problem right? Who makes the best off road y-pipe for our trucks?
