Jegs and summit both sell (the same) y-pipe. if you just put a new cat on there though.... that's gonna be kind of a waste of money.

So I have a 98 QC SWB with a new crate motor, serviced trans and t-case, fastmann throttle body, and thinking about an SCT. I run 89 octane fuel in it. Which tuner package should I get? How much of a difference would the stock t-stat make? I plan on putting about 3-4" of lift and 35's with 4.56's but thats about it.

I would contact Sean at hemifevertuning.com and discuss mods with him. Other than tires and gears, I think canned tunes would work.

I did it along with a bunch of other parts. I believe that it was in the $2200 neighborhood. I just sold my Tacoma to fix up my dads truck that I acquired. I love being back in a full size.

Selling a Tacoma is just downright WRONG! My sone keeps trying to talk me into getting rid of mone-cause HE wants it to add to his collection of Tacomas and Mustangs.....

You have moss on your sig? Time to update it?

That, and it looks like you are posting from your phone, so, sig doesn't show.

My first truck was an 85 W-150 that I put 8 inches of lift and some 37" BFG's, but when I started college my mom didn't want me to drive the 250 miles back and forth in an old dodge. She wanted me to get a car, and I informed her there was no way so we settled on an 07 tacoma. The 98 was my dads that I've been wanting since I was about twelve. My dad died five years ago and my stepmom fought over everything he owned tooth and nail. So low and behold I got the truck and sold my tacoma to my mother for less than i intended (didn't even know she was interested). I felt like I was in a slightly bigger car in the tacoma though, and missed my fullsize dearly.
