Default New Exhaust

I am going to get new exhaust at the end of the month. I dont know exactly the set up i want yet but i do have my tips mufflers and i know i want it out at 45's. I have 2 flowmaster super 44's 2.5'' inlet and outlet and 5'' rolled tip straight cut tips. I know 5'' tips on a gas truck is stupid but i love the look of bigger tips. I guess my real question is if i should go from 2.5'' pipe after the muffler to 3'', keep the whole thing 2.5'' or 3''. I wanna go for a deep nice tone and loud at the same time. And does anyone think it is going to sound stupid?

I would go down to 2.25 pipe after the mufflers, makes for a nice sound. What mods do you have? Flowmaters don't sound that great on a stock motor (to me anyway).

Dual super 44 on a sick(Ill, miss) motor.

I am:

A post *****.
Full of something anyway........
And have breathed in too many exhaust fumes, since I used to get to stare at them day in and day out for several years. (and cut, splice, bend and weld them.....)

Some folks say that carbon monoxide from engine exhaust is bad for you. I have grown to love it, and must have at least a little every day, or, my day is not complete.

Old diesels? yes. New clean burners? Not so much. I find they smell like dead rotten burning vegetables. The new Dura-junks the USAF buys is what I base this on, as i drive them daily.

Why do you want really loud exhaust? No doubt people will notice you but that includes cops to. If you take off hard from a redlight and a cop is anywhere around you guess who gets his attention.

Why not go with a nice deep sound that's not abnoxously loud?
