96 was a transition year for EGR. It was the first year of OBDII, but, I think dodge still had some left over EGR manifolds, and just put block off plates on them. (my 96 also had the EGR manifold, with a block off plate, and I have never seen an EGR code.)

Check your cat, see if it is clogging. (a result of the blown plenum) Replace at least the pre-cat O2 sensor.

The forums are messing with your mind....... I get some rather strange behavior every now and again as well. If you try and quote a post, but then DON'T post in that thread, some really odd stuff can happen.

That, and sometimes I think the forum software is just messing with our minds.

No. it's just the both of you.

If you've hit Multi quote on a post but lets say you change your mind to post, then go to another thread....it WILL remember. That is a possible situation.

thanks will do!I suspected cat!but your right I bet the damage is from clogged cat was thinking of taking it off till I get money for one but I dont want it to keep running lean,so its either cat or plenium, that kit cost 119.00,or 34.00 at autozone, autozone is just rubber gaskets, found cat, cost 140.00-200.00,but was wondering if I just cut cat off for now and replace gaskets!do u know if that would keep it in lean condition, moneys tight right now...cleaned injectors today runs damn good!!!!still lean bank 1,lol
