I've had 2 other people e-mail me on the rims. I told the original guy that if they weren't sold by tomorrow night that Id sell them to him for $150 I'd still be making $50 and then I'm almost half way to buying the axles. I looked up axles on the local craigslist and only found a couple but they were all 3.55 gears going from $150-$300 so I guess $200 a piece for 4.10 geared axles is good. Will there be any difference in swapping them over with a different model year or slt to offroad package??

Get the springs, control arms, rear springs/blocks, and as much else as you can too. 400 bucks for those axles is an excellent price. Shouldn't be any insurmountable differences between years, it should be pretty much a bolt on exercise. Off-Roads came with a 2" lift from the factory. Getting that as well would be a bonus. (but, I see you already have a 3" suspension lift..... so, six of one, half dozen of the other.)

You could inspect them yourself, and see if there are any issues that need to be addressed before installation as well. Pull the covers, make sure there isn't anything odd layin' around loose, and all the bearings feel smooth, and the clutch retaining clips for the rear posi aren't laying on the bottom of the pig...... (common....) You could even preempt that, and just toss a rebuild kit into the posi.

If you have gotten a couple emails on the rims already, don't sell 'em for less than the 200. Stick to your guns on that. Someone will pay it.

yeah I just had another e-mail on the rims the problem is that they aren't in the greatest shape. And I thought that the offroad just had a taller block in back so I don't think I'd need the rear leaf packs. But then again maybe I'm mistaken. When I changed my rear diff fluid in my truck this summer I found little pieces of spring at the bottom of diff on the magnet and asked a couple mechanic friends and they weren't sure what that'd be from so I just ignored it. It hasn't made any noises or problems yet but I would feel a lot more comfortable knowing that I don't have to worry about that anymore.

I should just buy the whole truck for parts lol! actually I don't know if he has the whole truck he told me all he does is work on 2nd gen rams he had to take me to 2 different garages in town to show me the 2 sets of rims he was selling. I definatley got his number saved in my phone because I know who I'm going to if I need parts.

If I had any clue how to ship tires and rims I would definatley think about helping out a fellow df member. You can see there's a couple scuffs and dings in the rims and it looks like its peeling on the outer lip of the rim where the old wheel weights were

They look pretty good, AND you've got all the center caps! I got my set for $50 from my bro in law, but 3 of the 4 center caps are missing, gotta order new ones.

I was thinking about getting the new center caps with the raised Ram logo, but after seeing a newer chrome wheel up close today, I think the new caps would be too chromey (word?) and wouldn't fit the rest of the wheel.

Can't really tell about the tread left on the tire, stick to $200 and see what offer's you get.

You'd probably have to ship them as freight. The most you can ship via a regular UPS truck is 150lbs, anything over is freight. Don't know about FedEx.

I have had rims shipped through DHL but they scratched them and I was PISSED!!!!!

Freight would be to expensive so it wouldn't be worth it

Not much tread left on the tires. And back to the question at hand I believe I read that the 2"s of lift on the rear is just taller blocks. that way I wouldn't need to get the leaf springs out of the donor truck or switch my AAL's over or anything.

Bring a measuring tape. Measure the blocks. I think the stock "normal" fellers are like 3"?
