Well as of now im not doing the JB weld. I found the paper work from when i bought the TC and it has a 90 day warranty on it. So i will be calling them tomorrow to get a replacement and in the meantime it looks like the Harley will be coming out of storage for some time untill the trucks back up and running. Hopefully these guys wont try and beat around the bush on the warranty.

Before you install the new one, install one of these in it.

 

You should be able to buy a replacement case half, just search the interweb for a np231 case half, it should be around 200the maybe a little less, and would only take a few hours to swap

 

I will have to look into these things. I dont even need a transfer case really cause i havent been able to use 4x4 for over a year due to different gear ratio in the front.

 

Shoot for leap day!! I am a leap year baby myself, and my cousin is as well. We are 16 years apart, she will turn 4 this year (or 1...)

 

so confused on that right now lol.. well i called the yard that i bought the transfer case from and they took my name and number and are in the process of looking for another case for me. They will be giving me a call if they find one.
