Default Ebay Headlights

I'm sure there are many threads about these lights, but I searched looking for reviews and found few.

I have the typical yellowed dodge headlights, the previous owner at one time tried to seal them up with silicone seal.

I know I could polish them up and reseal them but I'd prefer a replacement that is less likely to have the same problem.

I like these ones, but I have concerns, I don't want them to melt themselves, have no adjustment or cloud up quickly.

I could probably get over a lack of adjustment by trimming mounts and using washers like other forum members have done.

I would appreciate any experience anyone has to share about these light or similar styles.

DO NOT get them. They SUCK. I had them. After ONE (1) night , took them out. The light output is pathetic at best. With NO exageration, you would be better off sticking a flashlight out the window. OK, maybe slight exageration, but not much. Not to mention, there were NO DOT markings. Meaning, illegal for street use. IMO, reason for no DOT approval is the light output.

The light really does suck, I can't even tell there on. But they sure look nice on a city truck I need to get new headlights

How long have you had them? My truck sees a mix of country and city driving, If they are dim I'm OK with that, I'm sure it is easily fixed with a HID conversion. I just don't want it to melt or cloud up.

I have those same headlights, just not the blacked out version. I'm happy with them. Definitly better than stock. Mine were all yellowed up and had condensation in them. The only real complaint I have is the lack of adjustment screws. They bolted right up with no issues.
I would recommend a new set of turn signal bulbs (3157NA), since you have to remove the entire one-piece housing to replace them. Might as well put new bulbs in now.

Best pic of mine, just to give you an idea of how they look on a "real life" truck.

It was the pattern of the beam (or lack there of). The light was so scattered I couldn't see. I sold them and got aftermarket OE replacements from here: http://www.am-autoparts.com/2001/Dod...35/380382.html

They aren't bad they're terrible, I literally turned them off while off roading at night because my interior lights on all the way dim where putting off more light inside then the lights outside could compensate for. Please don't make my mistake and buy them, they are ridiculously dim. They are wAy to blacked out for lights and they are way to scattered. I think an hid would melt the lens and you'd blind every car on the road. Also if you go in water up to the headlights water gets in and destroys them, ask me how I know lol
