Default For those doing the air filter mod.

Just thought i'd share this for all who have done or are doing that old style air filter mod. I found today at my local pull a part that the ram vans have a factory adapter because they have the round intake on our style throttle body.
It bolts right in and the filter sits great on it no s bolt needed. Will post pic momentarily. Thought this may help someone, you all have helped me alot.

I think the older dakotas or maybe durangos had that too. I wouldn't run it just because of the air turbulence debate since it partially covers the holes in the throttle body. S bolts are easy to make with a short piece of 1/4-20 threaded rod.

Grand Cherokees have them too. I also agree with you regarding the turbulence that adapter would create.

Apparently no one likes it, if you see how it fits it really doesn't interfere much, but to each his own.

I used one of those a couple of years ago and it does overlap on the TB barrels. S bolt is the way to go.

A sbolt is so easy to make its ridiculous. I made one with a pair of vice grips and hole in a 71 truck bed out at the paintball park. Looks beautiful.
