Default Heated rear view mirrors

My 2000 ram has heated mirrors, but there is no switch on the a/c control panel. Do you think the wiring is there just the switch was not put in because that option was not purchased? I don't wan't to pull the dash off if I don't have to.

If it has heated mirrors, there would be a switch. Why do you think you have heated mirrors?

You should get a build sheet from Dodge.

I second the build sheet idea. That'll let you know exactly what the truck came with, and you can see what ws modified (mirrors or switch/dash).

My truck uses the rear window defroster button as the trigger for the mirrors. Fyi.

the outside mirrors have the defrost picture on them in the lower corner, thats why i think it has heated mirrors.

I replied on the mobile site and wasn't sure what generation this was in regards to. Yes, my 3rd gen mirrors have the same insignia on them. I press the button with the same insignia on it and it warms the mirrors, and the back window. I'm thinking you guys must have something similar.
