Default Rear lift questions

I installed a Hell Bent 2" level a couple months ago. Ever since, it looks as though it's now high in the front. Though it may just be me.

All I want to do is put a 1" block in the rear, and all I've come up with is aluminum. Not doing that. Being said, I have access to a machine shop so I can make my own.

On to the questions,

1) Is there a taper required for a 1" block?
2) What length block? Same as stock?
3) What diameter center pin?

I would grab a stock block, either one of yours, if you have something else to drive for a bit, or, grab one from a junkyard, and take the measurements you want, then, make a block that is one inch taller than the stock block, and install that IN PLACE of the stock blocks. (have to get creative for the bump stops....) I don't like stacking blocks. It just makes me nervous.

I may. Will have to wait till summer though, since the elky wont leave the garage till then. I cant have any downtime with the truck now.

There are tons of places that sell a 4" block. If you make your own be sure to taper them for your pinion angle.

I am considering a leveling kit. Would you suggest 1" or 2" based on your experience?

Need to measure your truck. Measure from axle center to bottom of wheelwell lip. Difference between front and rear is how much lift you need. I needed 2", but it "looks" higher in the front, although measure the same now. Thats why I want to do 1" in the rear.

Top Gunz has a 4" block but says it's for 2wd. Aren't the axles and spring widths the same between 2wd and 4wd? Or would they not work because of something I'm missing?
