can you take a bad 5.9 motor from a 4x4 and take another 5.9 engine from a 2x4 and still mtach up just fine or what ?

 

Yes everything will match up just fine. There is no difference 4x4 or 4x2 when it comes to the engine.

Whatever is wrong with your current motor could be fixable. There are a few things, like the plenum, that have to be replaced eventually and depending on how bad it is can you make engine run like total crap. Clogged catalytic converter's have an impact on performance too.

What's wrong with it?

 

Do these easily swap from auto to manual as well? The old mopar v8's didn't, and I've been curious about this...

 

well mines not starting it turns and cranks but before the it would normaly start it backfires and wont start ive repleace the cap and rotor and had timing chain done aswell along with a tranny rebuild im clueless to what to try

 

any codes?
