I wouldn't waste $20 on a junkyard dash. All you're doing is buying the same worthless POS you just removed.

B4 you all go buying the dash top, remove your old and inspect the rest of it. You can find them on Ebay for about $150.00 Underneath the top bit is also plastic, mine was broken in multiple places and a simple top was not all I needed, I wound up spending 20$ at the JY, yes $20, on another dash. Only thing cracked is the mounts for the drink tray, but will do something up w/ that using some sheetmetal to re-inforce it before I re-install my new dash.

also the dash I pulled came from a 94'. so I had to swap the wiring harness from my old one to this one, as ODBII didn't start until 96, and needed the ODBII port.

Spent all day today on the Ram. got the new heater core in, did the cut method as mentioned here, was a little tough getting the new core in, but once I figured it out, it went right in.

Also wound up keeping the existing water pump, believe it was leaking at the RTV seals or at the bypass hose that runs from the top of the water pump to the intake. Wound up w/ new hoses all around.

Just need to install the dash tomm. top er' off w/ antifreeze, burp er' and take it fer' a test drive. Hopefully no more antifreeze leaks...

Your probably right, however the plastic that the dash tops mount to is also all broken up, a whole new dash is needed. even If I buy a dash top, and I did price them, I'd not be able to install it w/o a good underneath that isn't broken as well.

Dodge really didn't think on this one, plastic dashes on 4x4 trucks, what were they thinking.. Wish I could find a metal dash from the 60's that would fit..
