Trouble with knocking and pinging when acceleration
I have a 94 Dodge Ram 1500 I swapped out the 318 with a 360 bored out to a 408. The truck runs great while idling but when hit the road it knocks pretty rough. I did put in the 360 computer into. I have been trying to figure out the issue researching in Haynes book and still cant find the issue.

The 360 computer is STILL going to run the engine lean.... Complete specs on the engine would be good. (injectors you are using for instance....)
Being as you have a 94, that's OBDI, so, simply getting a tuner isn't an option. You are going to need to pick up a wideband O2 sensor, and the ability to log engine info, and get a custom tune for that engine, or it will NEVER run right.
Other alternative would be a standalone fuel management system.....

For OBD1 pcm for this truck I cant find a programmer for it. Far as teh 02 sensor goes I have to wait for my part store to be open to find out if their is one to fit the model. The cat is gutted b/c it set it self on fire due to the zinc burn out of it during cam break in. I was running 91 oct. in it before moving it and was the first thing I try thinking it was the problem at first. Far as injectors go a guy the that I had talk to ran his with stocks for awhile before going to a 30lb. The entire motor and all compents where replaced. The major thing is this motor has costed me quite abit and going on a 300 dollar hunch doesnt sound too tempting.

As lastrights said. You need a Mopar performance pcm or a B&G flashed pcm. http://www.bgperformancepcm.com/
