I just got one from a junk yard 30mins away for $10 so I am going to try that.

This is the most likely thing as it was disconnected when I did the plenum and it doesnt looking in the best condition.

For $10 I will try this and if it doesnt work I will do what you had said about testing everything.

It was part of a wire harness they had and I was just happy to get it.

Anyway............. IT WORKED.............truck is all better now. Thanks to everyone for helping me get this figured out.

Did you have any luck finding the corporate? Having the same issue and with new sensor, code went away but coolant fan will only run on high constant and temp gauge does not work..

And what are you driving? No 2nd gen has an electric cooling fan.
