if you are clocking the tc, you might be ok. check that later. and make sure to check it at full tilt, not just sitting in the driveway. My DS was close, but another inch or 2 and I would have had trouble. But I also removed my swaybar.

If I get the track bar that goes up to 7 inch or should I shell out the extra 60$ and get the one that goes up to 9 inch

Shell out the extra $60 for the 9" and be done with it, it is adjustable right? Do you have a link to the part? The 7" one will not be long enough for 8" of lift, which would cause your truck to dog track.

Im running chevy parts on my front ds and i ground it down a bit to cause mine was binding up at 7". The chebys have a little more movement in them. Its not a whole lot but it helped mine out tremendously.

I think you would be further ahead getting a complete lift kit, than trying to piece it all together....

You could get the shackle flip kit from top gun.that with a set of 2 inch add a leafs will give you a little more than 6 inches in the rear. If you use a4 and a half inch block instead of the factory 3 inch you will net 8 inches in the rear and you shouldn't have to worry about axle wrap.its a little bit more expensive then straight blocks, but is a bit safer and half the price of lift springs.
