8 inch lift

Default 8 inch lift

I have a 3 inch susp but I'm setting up my 8 inch lift for my dodge ram 1500 1996 318
Parts ::
7"Inch coil(don't own)
1"inch coil spacer (don't own)
Index ring(don't own)
4 " add a leaf I already swapt my stock block for a solid 6 inch piece (don't own)
8 "track bar(don't own)
8" pit man arm(already have)
8 " control arms up and lower(already have)
Sway bar drop brkts(already have)
New brake line (already have)

Am I missing anything fellas I've been all over the net and I think I found all parts need...maybe

I don't see shocks listed. Some kind of rear tracbar/ladder bar to help prevent axle wrap. Why not just get a set of 8" spring's instead of using a spacer.

If you don't find everything you can always go 3" body with 5" suspension. Usually body lifts dont look good but on a Dodge they don't stick out a mile like on a Z-71. If you got step-bars, you don't notice alot about the chassis sticking out abit.

I couldn't find them only 7 from skyjacker I would of rathered a 8 but I guess 1 inch spacer ain't to bad. Oh yeah I got the skyjacker shocks waitin sorry forgot. Axle wrap?

I already put the 3 inch body on but that's a good idea thanks mutt and nice rims ha I got the same

TGC has 8" coils springs $379.95. You could have a look for them @ this site as well.

gears!, also I remember reading one time that when going this tall, the front drive shaft will run out of travel at the cv end by the transfercase. There is an easy fix, but I forget what's involved. I think grinding something on the driveshaft. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

You might just send them a e mail or call them after the holidays. As for the front ds look into a 3/4t 79 cheby shaft should be a bolt in thing.
