Our '98 Dodge has a Lund Sun Visor installed by a previous owner. I'm trying to remove it because I hate those things. I removed the screws, but it still doesn't budge. I'm thinking it also has 3M tape. Anyone install or remove one of these before?

Yeah it is probably taped down too, use citrus Goo Gone to remove the sticky mess once you get it off. Too bad about the drilled holes. Idiots. [:@]

 

I had one on my old truck and mine was actually glued with some special glue right to the truck...

 

lol...after everybody just basically said they hate those visors..would you be interested in selling it once you get it off?

 

Well, I definately won't have a use for it. I hope it comes off in one piece. You'd be welcome to it. It's white.

Hanson - Tell me more about this glue, cause I held a heat gun to it, and it didn't budge.

Well I couldn't get mine off after in broke in some nasty wind so I took it to my mechanic to have him look at it. When i went back he had it off and told me that it was glued on. It actually peeled away the paint in some spots so i just decided to put a night visor on it. Its really a pain in the ***. Im not sure what he did to get it off though. I never really asked. If you want to know i can give him a call though.

 

If you could, that would be great. I'd rather know what I'm up against before I try and pull it off.
