dakota, you had better keep a plastic bag and some duck tape in your truck until you get a new window motor just in case it decides it doesn't want to roll up one day and it starts to rain. its either that or just keep it up until the new motor comes in.

stop rolling it up and down.

As to what exactly is wrong, you'd have to remove the interior door panel and visually inspect it moving up and down. If it's just sticking a bit, try white lithium grease in the spray can so it don't stink up the truck.

The window is now working. I used 3" C-clamps to push rollers on arms with very little pressure. Thanks again guys

Well this is an old thread, but it was the one I was looking for. I knew there was a cheap fix for this issue.

Here's a picture of the broken roller and where it goes.

And here's a video of what it sounds like when that thing is broken.

I've got that same noise when I roll my windows. I never knew that was a problem. So where do you pick up those rollers?

Home Depot or Lowes.
The rollers for drawer slides are apparently the same size, or close enough that you can modify them a little bit so they'll fit.
I'm on my way to Lowes here in a few minutes.

Good deal...thanks for the heads up. All this time I thought that that noise was just a dodge being a dodge...
