strange tire wear
I'd be somewhat Ok with that, if it were the only problem - however, I'm getting wandering in my steering, too, so something is not quite right.
I know some of the grabbing of the road is the tires, but it is fairly extreme - I have to drive with 2 hands at all times, and sometimes on bad roads, I'll be steering towards 1 or 2 o'clock just to keep straight.
I was thinking since the 4WD vibration is coming from something in the front end, maybe the 2 are related. I've checked everything asked so far, and it all looks ok though.
The alignment shop also wasn't much help. They said everything looked good.

Update:
shock bushings look ok.
Truck also looks to be square.
so we had or first snow and I found myself using my 4wd - whereas I've previously only used it in the mud or at really slow speeds.
Anyhow, I'm getting horrible vibration in 4WD (4 hi) that increases as I accelerate. If I'm on the snow, its better, but when I hit patches of wet pavement (versus snow covered), I'm getting vibration in the wheel (feels like up/down). This vibration is not there in 2wd.
Could the 2 be related?

This response will play into the steering handling you describe, but just need to be checked.

Put up the alignment specs.
Also, went to look at previous picture. Your sway bar links are angled. Just an observation as can't see where the tires are pointed and appears you are on the ground, however, at an angle means the axle is not centered. If that is true, then you would be dog tracking like what Merc posted about with the rope around the vehicle to check for squareness.

Lastly, someone posted within the past couple weeks of a quick and dirty reseat/torque of the steering box stud/bolt. I can't remember as I thought it was drewactual or dhvaughn, but searching on their posts I didn't find it.
Search on "Death Wobble"
Otherwise...good luck.
