I guess we will find out in due time. I won't get to the project at least for a few more months.

I'll have to see what the cummins crowd is doing for drivetrain parts since it shares all of the same parts. It has the PATC mega viper stage 3 Trans in it with their billet converter, so that should be good.

NP 241 T-case has a max input torque north of 1000lb/ft.... I don't think you have anything to worry about there.

You're going to say whatever you have to just to see this happen, aren't ya?!?! Lol

Found a blown up v10 locally. May pick that up and do a fully forged motor.

I wouldn't steer ya wrong though. I would LOVE to see this come about. You would have one POWERFUL truck...... Here's an interesting chart for ya. The NP241DHD (which is the one you should have...) has a max continuous input of 1400 lb/ft, and a max rating of 5555 lbs/ft. (I would imagine to account for torque multiplication due to the trans.... gear ratios and such.)

Should be fun eh?

I just ordered up a spare v10. I should have it by Monday. Now to find some internals. I'm calling this project "cummins your face"

Why not just save yourself the headache and find a cummins truck that was rolled or rear-ended, and do a complete swap, you know motor computer fuel lines tank gauges...etc?
