Default locker time..

Locking at getting a locker for atleast the rear of my truck(probably rear for now). Want to stay cheap as possible and also want it to bolt in(ie same carrier). Eventually I will pick a set of d60s up and do gears and lockers in those. Until then though, need some ideas for a locker. Powertraxs? Detroit is to spendy i think.., lock right?

Do you just want to replace the spiders? Do you have an LSD now?

cheap locker=welder, lol. I hear good things about detroit and arb, but they are both pretty pricey, never heard anything good or bad about loc-rite

Not sure you can get the fellers that just replace the spiders for the LSD diffs though..... Might end up replacing the carrier in any event.

I think you can rebuild the current posi with the carrier in place.... I think..... I do believe any other alternative is going to require yanking it, and replacing it, and having to re-setup your gears.

Will have to find out if i can do that. Might go ahead and do that. If i have that or pull the carrier ill rebuild and keep searching for a set of 60s cheapish. (soooo wish i had not sold the axles outta the wrecked 2500 i had!! Had lockers and 410s...
