That's exactly what I was thinking! I live up in WI, that would be a dumb move for sure. That's why I liked the one you posted the most. Wouldn't that be great after two years having to do tranny lines because they started to rot. No thank you!

hey z what size is the cooler lines in our trucks? is it 3/8's? im gonna order one of those fittings from diesel manor, but they offer 3, and im not sure what size the cooler lines are on my truck.

fantastic, now i just gotta see which piece is stripped on one of my cooler lines, the fitting that screws into the trans, or the fitting on the cooler line itself..... i hate trans fluid leaks.....................................

The 3/8" must be for the 46RE, I used the 1/2" manifold on my 47RE trans line. Works awesome.

Install is easy I take it?

Ordering one now. What gauge did you go with, I was thinking just a pro-comp? Thoughts?

I'm running Glowshift gauges in a pillar pod and I'm pretty happy with them so far. The manifold install is a breeze. Install the sensor into the manifold, then cut a 1" section out of the line, push the ends in to the manifold and tighten 1 1/4 turns.

Sweet, I saw those on Ebay, is that where you got them? i think they were $36 w/ free shipping.
