If you have resources to make your own arms, I can think of zero reasons not to go long-arm. It would make everything perform better.

I gotta agree with this....... Better articulation, longer moment arm.... (smoother ride.) Lots of benefits, no drawbacks.

If you make your own long arms then can you take all the measurements and give'em to us so we can make our own?.........out depending on how much of a PITA it is you could sell some of us a set
