Was the demo on a fuel injected engine? I wonder if the laquer thinner wouldn't eat the insulation off the windings in the injector??

Have you fixed your plenum yet? Failing O2 sensors, and clogged cats (which is what it does indeed sound like you have.....) are generally signs of a toasted plenum gasket. Do you go thru more oil than you think you should between changes?
great well i lost the plug. and yes that would make sense.. i realized that at work today that the green one, shouldnt go to the intake manifold too lololol. but idk were it hooks onto ill check it out later.

ok well my grandpa has been around for a little while and he thinks the plenum plate is not the issue. but the did say the cat. like the video it looks like its welded on, i can go try to see but. its 20 degrees out side and 1 in the morning. i can try to rip it off. and soak it or something im sure its bad.

the oil is fine, i over filled it when i changed it. and its still over full. but i think, i could be wrong but i think as i said in a different post that my coolant is... evaporating or some sort.

also with the green vac line off the transfer case right? well my freind unpluged it from the air intake manifold. and i noticed my rpms are at 900 rather than 750. is that good? exept im burning MORE gas. and im still getting 7.5 mpg with the 2nd o2 sensor.

(im not mechanically smart.im learning and i learn well with hands on. looking at stuff online and then in person on my truck, that was sooo "afro enginered" as my grandpa says. its very very hard to see what is similar). i mean i have battery acid corrosion all over the driver side were the battery sits. it ate my cruise control, some vacuum lines, and electrical that i have no idea what the hell it goes to.

sorry for such a long post. im sure some of its confusing. thanks for your time.

Did you look at the link I provided? The green one goes to the TC switch just like the red, black and grey. And if the cat is clogged it's because of a blown plenum gasket and /or bad pcv valve. And you need to remove the TB and look all around inside with a flashlight and mirror, to know if the gasket is blown.

Why do I feel like I've typed the same thing in this thread 6 times? LOL

Have a look anyway..... the leading cause of clogged cats on these trucks is burning oil due to the blown plenum.

OK, I'll say it for the last time. If the cat is clogged there is a 99.9% chance the plenum gasket is blown, period. And a .1% chance the pcv is shot. No disrespect toward your Grandfather, but, You simply need to remove the TB and check it.

On a side note, I went to the junk yard today. And I got the filter/vent cap for the end of the green vac line if you would like it.
