CHanged Plenum ....Not fixed
No problem bud.
I'm experiencing the same oil guzzling with mine right now. Plenum fixed(and not leaking, just checked on Saturday), compression is fine, no leaks underneath and a Mopar PCV . I'm beginning to think this is just the way it is with a Magnum. As long as it runs as good as it does, I'll just keep putting a quart in every 3 weeks.

Just FYI.
Dave
Well mine only has 90K on it. So I don't get it. Everything checks out. But obviously some thing is wrong.
mine has 149,xxx on it and consumes maybe half a quart in 3,000 miles if that... Its tough to judge because I only put about 3,000 miles a year on it...
When I bought it the oil looked terrible (black sludge)... I used the risoline brand compression restorer stuff in it and it didnt lose a drop in the 2,500 miles or so I ran it before the next oil change... (I cant remember if I added the risoline to the old oil and ran it right before the oil change or after.... )
Anyway all the doom and gloom stories I have been reading about that stuff as well as engine restore has made me refrain from using it again... especially now that I may have head issues and have to tear into it...

Good call using Rislone. You can't go wrong there. Here is pic when I had to replace my oil pan, I didn't take pics when I did the plenum, But the second pic is from my 98. And the 2000 was even cleaner, so I know that it was maintained well.

I just changed it Saturday so I'm not sure if I'm still loosing oil. What has me concerned now is the misfire on cyl 5 that won't go awayWell I think that next tuesday I'm going to take it too the stealership and have them see if they can tell me whats going on (compression test) I put a mopar pcv in it tonight and changed the oil put a new plug in cyl 5 so we'll just have to wait and see...Thanks for all the help guys!

Nah, just kidding. Couldn't resist.
Mine has 180k and burns about a quart and a half or a little less in 3k miles. Seems a little excessive, but plenum is fixed and I never see any smoke. Rear main seeps enough to be wet with oil behind oil pan, but not enough to drip. I'll fix that once it starts dripping.
