Default Dual muffler exhaust?

What's my best option here with tone and loudness. After the cat should I split it and then have to thrush turbo mufflers or should after the cat have one thrush turbo muffler and Split it off after the one muffler. With 45* pipes and big tips

Best thing to do is get on YouTube and start searching. It all depends on what you like.

Dont get thrush glasspacks they dont sound that good. Go or a flowmaster super 44. Maybe try heartthrob glasspacks or flowpacks if you want really loud

Or just unclamp the muffler and remove it and the rest of the piping after that.

Thats it. Sounds good and its loud as hell. I ran that for a lonnngggg time, i just recently put my thrush glasspack back on to "save gas" and so far it doesnt seem to be helping when i drive like i normally did with straight pipe, it actually seems worse. when i get the chance the glasspacks coming back off

It'll essentially sound the same either way. If you want louder get a high flow cat, or true duals w/ high flow cats. I would also suggest super 44s over thrush, they sound better imo.

Actually many mufflers are designed for a certain flow rate.... more or less can make it sound totally different...sometimes more flow will make it quieter sometimes louder... and it can actually hurt performance if the flow is too much or too little for what the muffler was designed to handle.
Arent the 44 series one of the most restrictive mufflers out there? I thought I read they are for show and actually perform pretty lousy compared to others as far as performance? Of course if you just want to show off to the kids at school who cares right?
The flowmaster 44 is reported to rob about 3-5 horsepower... Why some people pay good money to get increases like that with other mods like headers and CAI and then negate it with a flashy sounding muffler is beyond me.. They do sound powerful but its a false claim. Just Seems like a waste if your actually looking for performance and dont mind the loudness.

Read Here. Pay particular attention to the third paragraph. Granted, it is only one manufacturer, but, the results are pretty telling.....

that sounds about right...If it were me, I would be looking at performance and build quality over the marketing hype...but like I said, if noise wasnt a concern and power was ...straight pipes are the way to go and sometimes aren't even as loud as some of the aftermarket mufflers...
They are like the bass sytems.... something many outgrow and are eventually annoyed by others who still have them..

I do have a Gibson exhaust on mine that was there when I bought the truck...I love the deep mellow sound...I guess I'm a hypocrite for not removing it but hey its stainless and is no where near as distracting as my uncles flowmaster setup..
