The 2500's with v10's and diesels with sticks had a dana 80. V10/Diesel 2500 autos had dana 70's. HD V8 2500's (Stick or Auto) had dana 60's. LD 2500's had 9.25's.

ALL 1 ton's had Dana 80's.

All one tons were dual rear wheel though. Not sure if that actually makes any difference, were those a bit wider than the 3/4 ton guys?

Yes. I can't say for sure with these axles but most likely it was just a bolted on hub extender piece. Basically a 6" 40lb cast iron wheel spacer haha



Oh yea. That also means the axleshafts are longer. Duh.
