I put a dodge stealth steering wheel on my 96 ram. I never got around to wiring in the cruise control, but it could be done. I have the stealth air bag wired in (plugged right into the stock harness). I have to cut the center hub off of the ram and weld it to the stealth wheel so the splines were the same.

well in theory if you went back with a custom steering column with the same splines as factory then all you would have to do is mount everything back up with clock spring in place and you would be good to go. There are several different companies out there that do custom steering wheels for airbags

Edit: misread the post thought it said custom steering column.

His cruise didn't work before hand and thinks its vacuum problem. air bag plugged in. had to some some grinding to make something easier to mount (forgot what part, but its with the air bag.) on the steering column

He is changing to black, carbon fiber, and yellow

I like the skull. Where can I find one? Does it effect your overdrive button?
