I was checking a fuse in the underhood fuse box, and noticed that my truck doesn't have the relays for ABS. Should those be there?

 

Relays I think were only installed on trucks with 4wal. You probably just have RWAL.

 

Do you have 4 wheel ABS? If so, then yes. If not, then no. Same PDC is used.

I have 2 ABS fuses in the cab, left panel of the steering wheel.

I only have RWAL.

 

I think I remember reading in the FSM that the fuses in PDC if you have 4w abs, and the fuses int he panel inside also feed something else but I cannot remember what it was. I looked at all of that back last May or June when I was having the ABS light issue. Mine only has the RAWL aso.

 

I was talking about the relays in the PDC. I haven't looked for the presence of fuses, maybe I should

Should be a 40 amp in there. Not saying it's the problem though.

 

Well, there's no problem. I just noticed that the spots for ABS Relays were empty. So I guess they are only for the 4 wheel anti-lock system. I didn't even know they had that, especially not in 94'.
