Slooshing noise
wait - stop.
you have a simple problem - air in the heater core.
don't complicate it by changing the water pump or heater core or anything else unless you know something is bad or leaking (which it could be).
if you don't have any leaks letting in more air - it will work itself out.
if it doesn't work out, you may have an air leak. check your hoses and clamps and run the engine a little with the radiator cap off.

I already tried to burp the system, I definetly cant get the air out if there is air in it. I ran the truck for close to an hour with the cap off on a very steep incline. The Rad is topped off the resivoir is at the correct mark.
I have the identical problem you describe. Water pump changed 10k miles ago, and heater core changed 500 miles ago. The sounds never went away. I've come to realize that its gonna be there forever.
I know somehow someone will tie it to plenum.....that is being done on Thursday...LOL

this might sound retarded but you did have the heat on full blast when doing this right?
Doesn't matter, there is no flow control valve for the heater core.
