thanks zMan, Well, i just got back from a friends, I Bought a new rotor, Distributor cap, and spark plugs, I Was told it could be a Missfire, Well, i took a look, it was missfiring BAD. So got all it on exept the cap (i misswired it by accident and figured it was the cap)

Still shakes, but no missfire! ill be putting the cap on tomorrow. tomorrows payday so i might be getting my oil pump and pickup tube/screen.

ALSO it begins to shake right into 4th gear. so should i check the bushings and so forth?

If you start feeling the shake as soon as it hits O/D, you still have a miss. Even a single cylinder missing can make the truck feel like it is shaking itself apart..

Don't overlook the simple things on the shaking. Make sure lug bolts are all correctly tightened and have wheel balance checked. You mentioned having the wrong wheels and tires on the truck. That cannot be good....

Check in the FAQ/DIY section for the TSB on plug wire routing. That could be the problem with it as well.

Well, when i accelerate to 3000RPMs it stops, but below it, the RPM drops. Overdrive on, When O'D is off, it doesnt shake AS bad. but it shakes. Tommorow im going to go pick up new tires, (used set of 16's) and put them on the original dodge rims. Ill see from there.
-Also, A High volume oil pump right? i may be picking one up tommorow aswell. And has anyone had this issue to? the dip stick wont go in all the way, like something is stopping it.
-And how would i go about checking the bushings/U-Joints? I'm fairly new to mucking on dodges, (im a toyota 4x4 kid. xD) so any help/tips are apriciated.

I Know it, but, i break them to much! i've always admired MOPAR, my grandmother had a 71 roadrunner with the 440 six pack droped in it. my 17th birthday i wrapped it around a telephone poll. but now i got this ole workhorse. it's my new baby. haha

On a side note, i put this down on my order http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...yword=oil+pump I Beleive this is the right one. It's %25 high volume. is that the correct oil pump?

trust me.. She did... threatend to blow off my feet with a 12 gauge in the hospital! haha!

and alright, so can someone give me a rundown? of WHAT ALL can cause this shaking. I'm making a list of what to check/replace. someone said the plenum? im hoping it's not, because i heard that's fatal.

Make a list of everything mentioned in this thread. Start checking such as plenum. No cost to check. Check every itme off the list as you go and post results. That will give us an idea about where to go. Without itmes being rulled out, ther eis no real way we can just keep guessing and it be of any value to you tracking this down.

Wrecked a Runner 440? Can't f*n believe you would admit that here.....lol....

Well, i just ran outside with a flashlight and my handy dandy screw driver, took off the aircleaner and looked down in the ports, seems to be alittle oil down there, could that cause an issue? i read the guide sticked on here, and from what i understand the plenum is a plate underneath the intake correct? i don't think there should be standing oil on it.

And yes, the runner is dead. but the engine is still good! I Accually have it hanging from a tree behind my house!
