Well thats what I did to eliminate the buzzing was replaced the flasher unit. I apologize if I was unclear. I first replaced the multiswitch and the buzzing was still there. I then put the old switch back on and replaced the flasher and inside the truck it seems to work fine. Both left and right turn signals operate correctly from inside, although the right front and rear blinkers do not work on the outside of the vehicle.
I have a '99 RAM 1500 5.2 V8 RWD

Thanks

Check the bulbs. Are they good?

I will need to check them when I get home from work. How can I tell if they're bad? Would I just look for a broken filament?

I would suspect the 'new' flasher unit is faulty.
