fuel injector replacement
Go for it. It DOES lube things up a bit, and it also breaks down any nastiness that has accumulated on top of the oring.
Didn't have to spray. Got smart and put screw driver under the back bracket that the bolt came out of. Pried right up. Wasn't prepared for the fuel bath though lol ill snap some photos. See what you think. Stay tuned!

didn't see an oring for one of them, unfortunately i mixed them without knowing. if it's lodged in the rail then i'll know where they go lol but the injectors don't look bad imo but i don't know and the port that #7 plugs into is pretty dirty. don't know if it's burning oil(don't know if it would show up there) or there was stuff getting past the oring

notice on photo 1 that there's a piece of something on the middle next to the hole. don't know if that was from pulling it out or somethin screwed up, and it's really hard to get a good pick on the opposite side
Actually, they really don't look that bad......
The only way you can easily test..... is to pull the rest of the fuel rail/injectors out. Get some little cups, cans, whatever, and point all the injectors into however many cups you need to deal with them. (four would be good.) Put the injectors back into the rail, (make sure they are secured in place....) Disconnect the electrical connector from the coil, and crank the engine a bit. compare the amount of fuel in each of your cups.
If you can compare spray patterns... that wouldn't hurt either. (they should all be basically a pencil beam of gas.)

I wish I could but that sounds like a weekend job since this is actually my daily driver. Ohm tested again and they were both around 11.7-11.8. I checked 1 and 3 again and they were both 11.9. Don't know why I keep gettin diff readings, I'm patient with it. But visibly don't look bad and test electrically like the others. Debating replacing to troubleshoot but doubting it will change anything. Gonna pull the o2 tomorrow and see if I have a problem there even though its new. Hopefully i can find the prob. Don't want a bad head gasket already. Read a gasket leak there can cause adjacent cylinder misfire. Gonna double check routing and tightness of wires while I'm over it. Even though everything's been checked. It's just weird it happens when it does. Almost like a computer prob
If you can't return the new injectors after you install them...... just live with it till the weekend, and run the injector test then. No point spending money you don't have to.....
I would also check compression on at least 5 and 7........ Leakdown if you can. (that would be a sure way to tell if you had a head gasket problem.)
